It’s out! The new skill is here and it’s available on free-to-play! You’ll receive all the equipment you need to train the skill when you arrive, so catch a boat to Daemonheim from behind the Al Kharid bank to start your new adventures!
Within each dungeon, the adventuring party is asked to solve puzzles and fight monsters, while using their skills to overcome the fiendish challenges that stand in their way. Use your skills to equip your party members, search for loot and keys and explore the floor until you find the epic boss monster at the end.
The environment contains hundreds of new objects, NPCs, rooms and locations covering an area more than 60 times the size of Falador – more than any single update ever has!
After adventuring (with a group of up to 4 other players), you’ll be able to access a wealth of new skill upgrades and reward items, including new weapons and armour for both the free and members’ game.

We've added a button left of the minimap which you can toggle to show the total XP you have gained during your login session. After your feedback of this feature from the Bonus XP Weekend, this XP counter is here to stay!
Members will find they now have ten more spaces in their bank.

Has there ever been a worse kept secret? As early as 2007, observant RuneScape fans have been avidly watching Google Maps for the construction progress of our latest adventure: Wet ‘n’ Wildy, the RuneScape theme park!
That’s right, at the end of 2010, we will formally be opening our doors and portculli, allowing you all to come and meet your favourite personalities, experience the thrills of living in RuneScape, and even sample its varieties of cheese.
We still have a few details to confirm, so this is where you come in: we want you to vote in the poll, on the front page of RuneScape.com, and offer your thoughts on prices, rides and plush toys.
We wouldn’t ask for your help without giving something in return, so please click on the image link below to view the RuneScape Wet 'n' Wildy visitor map, hot off the press. We can also offer a blog, accessed from the bottom-right of the RuneScape.com frontpage, which gives insight into how such a huge endeavour was tackled and brought to life, written byMod Paupersen, our Wet ‘n’ Wildy project coordinator.

Last Friday, 26 March, we conducted the first ever Big Ticket prize draw!
Right now, we’re in the process of contacting the lucky winner to arrange their visit and get their lifetime RuneScape membership added to their account! So, keep an eye on your inbox in case that winner is you!
As soon as everything is confirmed, we’ll announce the name of the lucky person on the official Big Ticket FAQ/Discussion forum thread. We’ve now awarded two Big Tickets in total (one prize draw and one competition winner) so there are still 22 Big Tickets waiting to be claimed. For those of you eager to win, here’s a quick reminder of how to be in with a chance of getting your hands on the best prize we have ever offered to our players:
- Enter any competition which offers a Big Ticket as a prize.
- Enter our monthly prize draws by simply being a member on the time and date of the draw; the more membership accounts you have, the more automatic entries you will have in each draw!
- Send us a postcard in the mail for a free entry in a monthly draw. Make sure your postcard is marked ‘Big Ticket Draw’ and send it to ‘Jagex, Box 78, 23 King Street, Cambridge, CB1 1AH, United Kingdom’. The postcard must include the date of the draw you are entering and your RuneScape account name.
- Get involved in the community! Whether that’s by being part of a clan, fansite, roleplaying organisation, story-writing club or any other areas of the community... We’ll be giving Big Tickets to those players who we feel really contribute to making RuneScape what it is today!
Speaking of prize draws, the next one will take place at 15:00 (3PM) BST on Monday 26 April 2010. At the time of the draw, all accounts with membership will automatically be entered, as well as all postcard entries received before the next draw. Don’t forget to include the date of the draw on your postcard.
